Throughout his career, Angelo Marchetti was the subject of reviews, critical introductions and articles appearing in newspapers, art magazines and exhibition catalogues. These documents stand as a direct record of how his work was received over time, and they form an integral part of the archive we are now reconstructing.
The collection is currently being digitised and catalogued. The materials identified so far—press clippings, critical essays, catalogue introductions, photographs of the artist and of him at various events—are undergoing verification prior to publication, in order to ensure both completeness and accuracy of attribution.
