This website (hereinafter the "Site") can be reached at angelomarchetti.it and is dedicated to the dissemination and consultation of the works of the artist Angelo Marchetti, born in 1930, who passed away in October 2000.

2) What data we process
The Site requires no registration and does not collect personal data through sign-up forms. Nevertheless, as is the case with any website, the following may be processed:

a) Browsing data (technical logs)
During your visit, the computer systems and software procedures may acquire certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet, for example: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, date/time, technical parameters and error information.
This data is used for: security, proper operation, aggregate technical statistics and the handling of any anomalies.

b) Statistical data (Google Analytics 4)

3) Purposes and legal basis
We process data in order to:

  • Operate the Site and ensure the security and continuity of the service. Legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest (security and technical management of the Site) and/or technical necessity of the service.
  • Carry out statistical analysis of visits (Google Analytics 4). Legal basis: the data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the cookie banner and revocable at any time.
  • Respond to requests sent by e-mail. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request / handling of the request.

4) Provision of data
Browsing data is provided automatically through Internet protocols.
Consent to statistical cookies is optional: you may refuse it and still browse the Site.
Sending an e-mail is optional, but necessary if you wish to receive a reply.

5) Recipients of the data
The data may be processed by: persons internal to / authorised by the Controller; technical providers (e.g. hosting, maintenance, security) appointed, where necessary, as Data Processors.
For statistics only, and subject to consent, the data is processed by Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4) and by the consent management platform provider consentmanager (Jaohawi AB). The data is not disseminated.

6) Transfers outside the European Economic Area
The use of Google Analytics 4, activated only subject to consent, may entail the transfer of data to the United States. Google adheres to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and adopts Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission as an adequate safeguard pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR.
For any other services that may be present (e.g. maps, video, fonts, social plugins), analogous safeguards apply where required.

7) Retention periods

  • Technical security logs: retained for a limited period, ordinarily up to 30 days, save where the investigation of abuse or offences requires otherwise.
  • Google Analytics 4 statistical data: retained in aggregate form according to the property's settings (ordinarily up to 14 months).
  • Contact e-mails: for the time necessary to handle the request and for any legal obligations or protection of the Controller.

8) Rights of the data subject
